Transport Case Studies |
Teed Business Continuity managed a project for a bus company with the objective of ensuring that public transport services would continue to be supported following any incident which impacted on their Head Office. This involved a review of current contingencies, developing a practical recovery strategy and then creating business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
We were also engaged by a leading public transport company to review the recovery capability of their IT systems and services. We first conducted a business impact analysis using a process tailored to the client's needs. The analysis involved interviewing key people from across the business to determine how quickly systems would need to be recovered following a serious incident, in order to keep impacts on the business and its customers within acceptable limits. We then determined the speed of recovery for systems through interviews with IT staff. The analysis highlighted which systems could not be recovered in time and led to a revised recovery strategy being implemented for those systems. |
