Requirements Whilst operating under a corporate mandate to ensure that business continuity arrangements are in place, the senior team of this organisation recognise the importance of the discipline. With a challenging timescale for introduction of the full BCM lifecycle across the business, the BCM team recognised that Teed Business Continuity’s experience and focussed approach would bring many advantages to their project.
The specialist consultants from Teed have been integral to the development of business continuity within this organisation. With a complex structure across many sites, building capability was never going to be easy; Teed were asked to ‘kick start’ the programme through delivery of initial Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).
Outcome Our flexible approach and wide experience of other industry sectors has allowed Teed to bring a variety of ideas to the table and supported the rapid development of capability. Our methodology, tailored to meet the client’s needs, ensures that information is gathered in an extremely effective manner, allowing us to develop the project rapidly and using only the minimum of employees’ time during discussions.

Activities have included: • Development of analysis methodology • Facilitating BIAs, often in compressed timescales to meet onerous deadlines • Development of business continuity plans • Facilitation of training and awareness presentations for a variety of internal stakeholders including senior management and employees with direct BC responsibility • Assessment of key supplier business continuity preparedness through exercising • Exercising of plans and response teams • Audit & assurance Over a period of 3 years, Teed consultants have supported the provision of business continuity capability across this organisation and ensured that we continue to deliver our projects in a manner which exceeds the clients’ expectations.
