Teed Business Continuity has worked on behalf of a number of administration and operational organisations within the NHS and employs specialists within the industry.
For example, Teed managed a project for a hospital in the North of England with the objective of ensuring that essential services to internal departments would continue should the central IT services be put out of use for whatever reason. This project involved identifying the business recovery requirements and matching these to the existing recovery capability.
Another project involved Teed consultants coordinating a business continuity project from start to finish for a major central body within the NHS (inc. business impact analysis, plan development, strategy implementation and crisis management and business recovery testing).
The most popular area with NHS clients, where we get asked back time and time again is for training and the coordination of tabletop exercises (to test effectiveness of plans and help raise awareness of roles and responsibilities in a crisis).
Teed's significant relevant experience ensures that we can simplify the implementation of business continuity management for Healthcare organisations to ensure that the new Civil Contingencies Act responsibilities are understood and satisfied accordingly |
