DR Service Negotiation |
Co-ordinating the identification, negotiation, assessment and contractual processes involved in choosing DR products and services, thus ensuring that the most beneficial rates and terms are achieved.
Independent advice and assistance, from a DR consultant, with the sourcing of DR services and negotiation, involving:
- Collation of resource information and agreement of precise DR contract requirements
- Identification of appropriate DR service providers who are able to satisfy requirements (utilising catalogue of suppliers and knowledge gained from numerous clients on the pros and cons of each supplier)
- Production of quotation request document and submission to appropriate suppliers
- Negotiation with suppliers to achieve competitive rates and suitable terms
- Detailed analysis of supplier quotations (inc. small print) and clarification on any issues arising
- Submission of report including sufficient information to justify recommendations, for example:
• Summary of requirements • List of quotations obtained to satisfy requirements • Justification of method used to identify most appropriate services • Independent verification of most appropriate supplier, or combination of suppliers, to satisfy product and service requirements
- Submission to management, if required
- Guidance on setting up contracts and assessment of contract terms and conditions
