David Teed MBCI
David is a Senior Consultant and Director of Teed Business Continuity
Prior to founding Teed in 1999, David’s background was in commercial insurance and risk management gained whilst working for 10 years as a commercial insurance broker. David is a Member of the Business Continuity Institute.
Combining his considerable experience both as a skilled consultant and business continuity practitioner, David is often called upon to facilitate some of our most complex and technical projects which require innovative thinking to ensure appropriate strategies are identified. David firmly believes that the value of an effective Business Impact Analysis cannot be underestimated and forms the crux of all projects in enabling time and costs spent on recovery strategies to be kept to a minimum.
Whilst David works with all types of organisations, he spends much of his time in the energy sector and is a recognised business continuity specialist in the offshore oil and gas industry, having assisted many operators and suppliers with their BCM, both in the UK and in other parts of the world.
David was awarded the CIR 2010 Business Continuity Consultant of the Year Award, sponsored by the Emergency Planning Society and in April 2011, he received an Award of Merit from the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (IOSH).
