At the CIR Business Continuity Awards on 12th May at Park Lane Hilton in London, host Ruby Wax presented David Teed with the award for Business Continuity Consultant of the year.

The judges were looking for consultants who excel in the business continuity field. Among the factors considered was the use of creative ideas to resolve problems, innovation in the actual techniques used, the instigation of a business continuity culture in all the organisations worked with, the strengthening of relations between service suppliers, insurers and business continuity professionals, and strong ideas on future developments in business continuity planning.

David founded Teed Business Continuity in 1999 building it into one of the foremost business continuity consultancies in the UK, bringing together a team of highly experienced professionals to deliver pragmatic business continuity solutions across a wide range of organisations and sectors, using a no nonsense approach that is both cost effective and time efficient. This remains the cornerstone of Teed's overall approach and ethos.

Upon winning the award, David said: "It is an honour to have received this external recognition of Teed's achievements in the field of business continuity. Our combined efforts have helped us define and maintain an approach and standards that ensure we deliver first class results to clients every time."
