The Client

Part of a global defence, security and aerospace company with over 100,000 employees.

The Challenge

An effective business continuity management process had been developed and internal roles had been defined to ensure the analysis, planning and testing activity was maintained.

The Solution

Training modules were developed consisting of a number of 2 hour, ½ day and 1 day courses covering the following:

  1. Introduction to BCM
  2. Business impact analysis
  3. Business continuity planning
  4. Business recovery planning
  5. Exercise & testing facilitation
  6. Business continuity team training

Each training course was designed to give participants the skills required to carry out their role. To achieve this, the courses are fully interactive, thus allowing attendees to gain hands on experience in a dynamic environment.

Teed consultants worked closely with our client to ensure that each course was tailored to meet the specific requirements and methods of their business, whilst ensuring BCM best practice was adhered to.
BCM knowledge and practical experience now had to be improved upon to ensure that the hundreds of nominated staff and management had ability to perform their responsibilities.

The Result

Hundreds of staff and management have already attended the courses run by Teed consultants.

A comprehensive programme of activity is scheduled going forward that will ensure that ultimately all individuals with a role to play either pre or post incident will have attended the appropriate course modules. Once complete, our client should have confidence that BCM has been fully embedded within the organisation’s culture.
