Health
We have spent many years helping a wide variety of NHS organizations develop and exercise their business continuity plans. Teed consultants have helped hospitals, supply hubs, central payment, records and administration services and many other parts of the health service with their planning efforts.
Obviously the focus of any business continuity project in the health sector must be upon maintaining front line services. Prior to our involvement in many projects there have been glaring risk exposures that have now been dealt with through the implementation of effective recovery strategies.
We recognise that budget availability is an important factor to consider and, unlike financial services organizations, health service providers will not have a lot of money to throw at setting up recovery locations and facilities. We bring to the table experience of what can work with very little investment, whether this be reciprocal arrangements, workarounds or other innovative methods that will keep services operating without the solution costs being too onerous.
Whilst undertaking projects in the health sector we will provide training and guidance to allow our clients to be self sufficient for ongoing plan maintenance and exercising activity. Yes, we would be disappointed of our clients did not occasionally ask us back to provide training or an independent exercise but we deem a project to be a success when we are no longer required to support the ongoing activity.
